Commencement is a joyous time to celebrate the hard work and great accomplishment of a loved one. Please see the information below to make your visit to campus most enjoyable.
Accommodations

Seating
Disabled seating is limited, so we ask that only two attendants at most be with any guests needing wheelchair assistance. Other members of the party are asked to be seated in the general seating areas to allow us to accommodate other guests with special needs.
Parking and Traffic Flow
Detailed commencement parking information is available dependent upon whether you wish to attend the fall ceremony or the spring ceremony. Transit and Parking personnel will be on hand to direct parking at all commencement events. Click here for a traffic flow map around the arena area.
Disabled Parking
There are designated parking lots for those with a state-issued disabled placard or license plate. Parking attendants will be on hand to help direct you. There will be a drive up area for guests needing to drop off riders who cannot walk a great distance, located at the main entrance. More information regarding disabled parking can be found dependent on whether you plan to attend the fall ceremony or the spring ceremony.
Photos
While guests are welcome to take pictures from their seats, they will not be permitted on the floor once the ceremony begins. Professional photography services are provided during the ceremony through Grad Images. Following the ceremony, to view or order prints, please visit www.gradimages.com.
Graduation Gifts
Please note that for safety, wrapped gifts are not allowed at any ceremony. Please provide them to your graduate at another convenient location. Mark the milestone and leave a lasting impression in your graduate's heart with a personalized graduation gift from their Alma Mater. The University of Arkansas Bookstore has a wide variety of University of Arkansas commemorative gifts.
Security
The University of Arkansas makes security a foremost priority at all of its events.
Guests will be welcomed through the bag check area. Wrapped gifts, large umbrellas, strollers, or balloons will not be allowed into any ceremony. Compact umbrellas will be allowed. No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted. Please comply with the direction given at all times by the ushers and officers on hand.
