Withdrawal from Classes

An official withdrawal withdraws you from all classes for all sessions that have not been completed as of the date of withdrawal. Please contact the Office of the Registrar at 575-5451 with any questions.

May 2018 Intersession: May 14 - May 25 (2 Weeks/10 Class Days/1 Final Day)

Classes will meet on Saturday, May 19

May 13, 2018	Last day to receive 100% adjustment of tuition and fees for an official withdrawal or dropping a class for the May Intersession
May 14, 2018	May Intersession Classes begin
May 14, 2018	Last day to receive 100% adjustment for dropping a May Intersession class while remaining enrolled for the semester (no fee adjustment for dropping an individual class after this date).
May 14, 2018	Last day to receive 90% adjustment of tuition and fees for a May Intersession class by officially withdrawing (no longer enrolled in any classes at the University for the entire semester); charged $45.00 withdrawal fee.
May 14, 2018	Last day to register for or add a May Intersession class
May 14, 2018	Last day to change a May Intersession class from audit to credit
May 15, 2018	Last day to receive 80% adjustment of tuition and fees for a May Intersession class by officially withdrawing (no longer enrolled in any classes at the University for the entire semester); charged $45.00 withdrawal fee.
May 15, 2018	Last day to drop a May Intersession class without a "W"
May 15, 2018	Last day to change a May Intersession class from credit to audit
May 17, 2018	Last day to receive 70% adjustment of tuition and fees for a May Intersession class by officially withdrawing (no longer enrolled in any classes at the University for the entire semester); charged $45.00 withdrawal fee.
May 18, 2018	Last day to receive 60% adjustment of tuition and fees for a May Intersession class by officially withdrawing (no longer enrolled in any classes at the University for the entire semester); charged $45.00 withdrawal fee.
May 19, 2018	Last day to receive 50% adjustment of tuition and fees for a May Intersession class by officially withdrawing (no longer enrolled in any classes at the University for the entire semester);
May 20, 2018	Last day to receive 40% adjustment of tuition ad fees for a May Intersession class by officially withdrawing (no longer enrolled in ay classes at the University for the entire semester); charged $45.00 withdrawal fee.
May 21, 2018	Last day to drop a May Intersession class with a "W"
May 24, 2018	Last day of May Intersession classes
May 24, 2018	Last day of May Intersession classes
May 24, 2018	Last day to officially withdraw from all May Intersession classes

Ten Week Session: May 29 - August 3 (10 Weeks/48 Class Days)

June 24, 2018	Last day to receive 60% adjustment of tuition and fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for the ten week session
July 1, 2018	Last day to receive 50% adjustment of tuition and fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for the ten week session

July 7, 2018	Last day to receive 40% adjustment of tuition and fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for the ten week session (no fee adjustment after this date)
July 13, 2018	Last day to drop a ten week class or classes with a "W" (no fee adjustment). No ten week class or classes may be dropped after this date unless the student officially withdraws from all classes that have not yet been completed
August 2, 2018	Last day for students to officially withdraw from all ten week classes through Student Center in UAConnect (no individual drops, no fee adjustment).
August 3, 2018	Last day of ten week classes (no separate examination period - exception for Law students, contact Dean's Office for dates)
August 3, 2018	Withdrawal on the last day of ten week classes requires verification from the instructor of each class indicating that the student did not take the final exam. This withdrawal can only be completed by the Office of the Registrar. Each Instructor must submit an email indicating that the final exam was not taken. Each Instructor must submit the email from their UARK account to: registra@uark.edu.

First Five Week Session: May 29 - June 29 (5 Weeks/24 Class Days)
