Withdrawal from Classes

An official withdrawal withdraws you from all classes for all sessions that have not been completed as of the date of withdrawal. Please contact the Office of the Registrar at 575-5451 with any questions.

May 22, 2015 Registration for students using the Senior Citizen Discount Waiver
May 25, 2015 Last day to receive 100% cancellation of fees for an official withdrawal
May 25, 2015 Memorial Day holiday
May 26, 2015 Classes begin at 7:30 a.m.
May 28, 2015 Last day:
  • to register for or add a 10-week class;
  • to change from audit to credit;
  • to apply for residency reclassification
June 1, 2015 Last day to receive 90% cancellation of fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for 10-week Session
June 3, 2015 Last day:
  • to drop a 10-week class without a "W";
  • to change class from credit to audit
June 7, 2015 Last day to receive 80% cancellation of fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for 10-week Session
June 14, 2015 Last day to receive 70% cancellation of fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for 10-week Session
June 21, 2015 Last day to receive 60% cancellation of fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for 10-week Session
June 28, 2015 Last day to receive 50% cancellation of fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for 10-week Session
July 3, 2015 Independence Day Holiday
July 4, 2015 Last day to receive 40% cancellation of fees for officially withdrawing or dropping a class for 10-week Session; no fee adjustment after this date
July 10, 2015 Last day to drop a 10-week class or classes with a "W" (no fee adjustment). No 10-week class or classes may be dropped after this date unless the student officially withdraws from all 10-week classes
July 31, 2015 Last day:
  • to officially withdraw from all 10-week classes (no individual drops, no fee adjustment). Withdrawal on the last day of class requires a letter from the instructor of each class indicating that the student did not take the final exam. It cannot be done over UAConnect;
  • of 10-week classes (no separate examination period - exception for Law students, contact Dean's Office for dates)

June 17, 2015 Last day to drop an individual 1st 5-week class with a "W" (no fee adjustment). No 1st 5-week class or classes may be dropped after this date unless the student officially withdraws from all 1st 5-week classes
June 26, 2015 Last day:
